Taipei, Sept. 26, 2002 (CENS)--In line with the hot sales of
heavy duty motorcycles in Taiwan, Kwang Yang Motor Co. said
yesterday that it expects to become the sales agent of Kawasaki
and would import such products from Japan in 2003.
Kwang Yang and Kawasaki have signed a cooperation memorandum
recently. Both sides are expected to formally reach an accord for
sales of Kawasaki's heavy duty motorcycles in Taiwan by the end
of the year, when Kwang Yang will also open a flag-ship store for
such motorbikes in Taipei.
Kwang Yang expects to start importing Kawasaki's heavy duty
motorcycles in 2003 if everything goes smoothly.
